"Always willing to give me all the time I need. Explains everything beautifully. We had a mini tornado come through our neighborhood a few years back and Jennifer came to our house the day of to guide us through the process. It took out part of our roof, ceiling, flooded our floors, furniture, etc. We felt important to her. Also, whenever I email or call the office, Suzanne is always quick to respond and even when I may be "testy" to her she is still calm and answers all of my questions and truly helps me."

"I have been a State Farm customer for over 30 years, and this office has been the most disappointing experience I've worked with. This is not based on one isolated issue, but a pattern of poor communication, lack of follow-up, and unclear answers.

For one the State Farm website is difficult to use. But the bigger concern has been the lack of proactive communication. Examples: I had a hail claim, no one followed up to ask how the claim was going or whether I was satisfied with the process. When I sold my house and canceled my policy, I received no confirmation of the cancellation, no explanation of the refund process, and no information about the amount, timing, or calculation of the refund.

After more than a month passed with no communication, I had to contact the office myself. I was then given conflicting and confusing information about when the refund check was sent, and what documentation was available. After phoning the office and asking for clarification, I could not get clear answers. I was told simply that bottom line a check was issued and I would be receiving it. No confirmation of mailing address, no documentation.

I expected better communication, professionalism, and transparency.

Additional review after Jennifer's response:
Jennifer, I think your response illustrates the issue I have been describing. You ask what you can do moving forward, yet after multiple conversations and emails, the concerns I have repeatedly raised still have not been addressed.
As of today, I have not received any documentation regarding my policy cancellation or refund despite multiple requests. What date was the replacement check sent? To what address? What is the refund amount? How was it calculated? These are basic questions with straightforward answers. You are aware I have these concerns because I have expressed them clearly several times, yet they remain unanswered, almost dismissed as if they are unimportant.
The larger issue is that meaningful communication and follow-up have consistently been missing. Whether it was a claim that was initially denied, the sale of my home, or questions about my refund, the pattern has been the same: I am expected to initiate, investigate, and follow up myself. A simple thank you for being a 30-year customer would have been much appreciated.
Again, I expected the value of a local agent relationship to be proactive communication, advocacy, and personal service. Unfortunately, my experience has been largely transactional, making it difficult to see the difference between having a local agent and simply purchasing insurance online.

The saga continues:
The situation continues to reinforce my original concerns. Jennifer advised that answers to my questions would be provided by Monday. By Thursday, I still had not received any update and once again had to initiate contact myself.
Jennifer had confirmed that 4 specific questions twould be answered.
When is the new check being sent? To what address? What is the amount? How was that amount calculated?
The response? "I’m showing check # xxxx was issued June 2 in the amount of xxxx It was mailed shortly after that, so you should receive it soon. It was the pro-rated amount of premium from the cancellation date (5/5) up to the renewal date (12/1)."
2 of the 4 questions answered directly, 1 half answered, (no calculation of the prorated amount) 1 question not answered. Zero documentation. The omitted answer? Where was the check sent. I had to inquire (again) specifically where the check had been sent. Only then did the office discover it had been mailed to the home I had already sold, despite my current mailing address being on file.
Mistakes happen. The frustration is the pattern. Had I not followed up and asked specific questions, this issue would have been identified. I was left to investigate, initiate communication, and resolve the problem myself. A perfect example of the concerns I've expressed: communication is reactive rather than proactive, and the burden of follow-up consistently falls on the customer."

Thank you for your feedback. I apologize for the difficulty you’re having with the State Farm website. I will forward your concern along to our corporate office.

As Suzanne mentioned in her email, State Farm is currently updating our policies and systems and we are doing our best to navigate the new processes.

After reviewing the communication between you and my office the past few years, I’ve found that we have been pro-active in explaining upcoming policy changes and offering reviews. I wish you had accepted that invitation as I think that would have helped us develop a better, more personal relationship.

Regarding your claim, had I known you were having difficulty, I would have been happy to discuss your concerns and done my best to help. I wish I had called you, and I wish you had called me.

I am truly sorry that we have not met your expectations.

Please let me know what I can do for you moving forward.

"I have been with Jennifer Wilcox - State Farm for over 7 years and we have multiple policies with them. Christina is always very helpful and great at explaining different policies and recommendations based on what you are looking for. She brings in real life experiences in her own life to help you figure out what you need. We also unfortunately had to file a claim from a hail storm and didn't know where to start. We called and left a voicemail within a hour Jennifer called us back and helped us get started with what they could and walked us through what to watch out for to get a trustworthy contractor for repairs. The claims team was very easy to work with which made the process smooth. Only room for improvement has nothing to do with this specific team but State Farm needs to better explain how the Drive Safe and Save discount is calculated. It is always a surprise on what the savings will be and each renewal they seem to be getting worse and worse with no one knowing how they are calculated."
